Artist comment: "This drawing of Pinetop's hands was done from a photograph I had taken of him in Seattle in 2010, while he was practicing at the piano. The light was just perfect, so I decided to take some photos, and later spend time on the drawing. Those hands led a long wonderful life, and left a lot of music for all to listen to and remember him by. The legendary Pinetop Perkins passed away March 21, 2011."
