Artist comment: This portrait was created for Thara Memory’s American Music Program benefit concert in 2014, and together with my portrait of Terrell Stafford, raised $2000 for the program! I rarely use another photographer’s photo, but I am very grateful to Eric Pozza for letting me use his wonderful photo of Bennie. Eric’s work can be seen at CanberraJazz.net.

Blues Cruise 21
Oil on linen, 24×30” $4000 Limited edition prints are available
Artist comment: This painting was commissioned by the Legendary Blues Cruise which offers two fully chartered cruises a year, one to the Mexican Riviera and one to the Eastern Carribean. The theme of this painting pays tribute to the Mardi Gras Indians, representing New Orleans (the second port stop of the cruise). The ship also stops at Key West Florida (for Fantasy Fest), and Progreso Mexico (Mayan Ruins). This is the official poster for the October 2013 Fantasy/Big Easy/Mayan cruise. To find out more about the Legendary Blues Cruise, visit their website at www.bluescruise.com.
Artist comment: This is my third pencil portrait of Stanley Jordan, so the next one will have to be a painting! I never get tired of listening to his music, whether he is performing a solo show, or with the Dave Matthews band, his performances are not to be missed.

Zoe
Oil on linen, 24×34”
Artist comment: “Zoe’s parents were thrilled with the painting, but the very best comment came from Zoe herself, when she whispered to her mom… “I feel like I’m famous!”
