Artist Comment: “I photographed Poncho Sanchez several times at the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival, and in 2015, I was fortunate enough to meet him and give him a copy of this drawing. We had a short conversation about how I used two photos to work from for the drawing, which he related to because it was much like his own art (music). He asked me for my contact info which I think means that he liked it!”
